Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-05

This policy covers online payments made on nookingo — event tickets and booking deposits. Each business may set its own rules within this framework.

1. Event tickets

  • Tickets are sold on behalf of the event organiser. Refund eligibility and any cut-off follow the organiser's terms shown on the event page at the time of purchase.
  • If an event is cancelled by the organiser, eligible ticket holders are refunded to the original payment method.
  • Booking/convenience fees may be non-refundable where stated at checkout.

2. Booking deposits (salon, stays, dining, home services)

  • Where a deposit is taken to confirm a booking, the business's cancellation window is shown before you pay.
  • Cancel within the window → the deposit is refundable (less any fees stated). Cancel after the window, or no-show → the deposit may be retained by the business.
  • If the business cancels or cannot honour a confirmed booking, your deposit is refunded in full.

3. How refunds are made

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through our payment partner. Banks typically take 5–7 business days to post the credit after a refund is initiated.

4. Requesting a refund

Start with the business via your booking/ticket, or email hello@nookingo.com with your order/booking reference and we'll help resolve it. See also our Contact page.

5. Not refundable

Enquiries and “pay at venue” bookings involve no online payment, so there's nothing to refund — simply cancel with the business. Completed services/experiences are not refundable except as required by law.
