1. What nookingo is
nookingo is a local discovery and business-directory platform for Coastal Karnataka. It helps you find restaurants, events, stays, salons, home services and more, and — where a business offers it — to send enquiries, request bookings or buy event tickets. For most transactions nookingo is an intermediary between you and the business; the business is responsible for the goods, services and experiences it provides.
2. Accounts
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email or mobile. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your contact details accurate. Business accounts and personal accounts are separate — a personal account cannot list or manage a business.
3. Bookings, tickets and enquiries
- An enquiry is a request to contact a business; it is not a confirmed booking.
- A booking or table/room request is confirmed only when the business accepts it. Prices, availability and timings are set by the business.
- Event tickets are sold on behalf of the organiser. Entry, scheduling, and conduct of the event are the organiser's responsibility.
4. Payments
Online payments (e.g. event tickets and deposits) are processed by our payment partner. nookingo does not store your card or bank details. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Listings and content
Businesses are responsible for the accuracy of their listings. Reviews reflect the views of their authors, not nookingo. We may remove content or listings that are unlawful, misleading, or violate these terms.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the platform — no fraud, spam, scraping, attempts to break security, or posting unlawful content. We may suspend accounts that do.
7. Liability
The platform is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, nookingo is not liable for the acts or omissions of businesses, for event or booking outcomes, or for indirect losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable Indian consumer law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; the “last updated” date above will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
